I am curious as to the long term detrimental effect on the battery by charging it to 100% I ONLY need to do this a few times for an upcoming trip where there are zero superchargers and minimal other public charging stations I always only charge to 80%, per Tesla's recommendation right now

I picked up my brand new 2021 MY recently, and when I tried charging my new iPhone 12 Mini in the Tesla lot and it didn't charge, the Tesla rep said that they quot;knew about the problem charging iPhone 12s quot; and hopefully a fix would be out soon
