my td account got hacked in february, and the person somehow got into my account multiple times over the span of two weeks UNTIL they opened a new bank account that unlink it from my original one after the third time, I ended up talking to a senior fraud specialist and found out that a td employee was supposed to unlink it the first time

After numerous calls and 2 months of trying to link my TD Bank (US) accounts to TD Canada, I thought I'd reach out here to see if anyone got it to work - From what I see on EasyWeb, it is possible to connect TD Bank to TD Canada and directly transfer funds from one account to another there (Transfers > TD Bank (US) To TD (Canada) Transfer)

The EasyWeb model seems to be mostly "talk to humans when you want to buy sell stuff, EW lets you monitor it" while DI is more of a do-it-yourself thing That might be over-stating a bit since the EW model allows online buy sell, but the model is more like "fill out an online form and send it for human processing" than "enter the order and it just happens"

TD is a large company and money is in their best interest so obviously they have thought about this before The point of the password restrictions is to save money on tech support and enhance customer usability by ensuring users can't choose long or complex passwords that they're likely to forget

TD has never been strong in their branding which has been kind of odd to me Like their access card design is just plain awful imo Their CC designs were updated and are plain, but at least more aesthetically pleasing now as before they look like they were created by year 1 graphic design students

Yep I have an old iMac from 2011 it won’t run easyweb anymore It won’t down load other payment sites either The web browser can’t up grade to a proper browser for security Hope that makes sense Just got off the phone with apple two days ago about the same issue Looks like I’m buying a new Mac Shit

not true CRA just asked me to prove all my RRSP contributions including TD Very unexpected and yeah -can't find any TD receipts on their website at all you have to contact them go into a branch or get them mailed to you Not fun CRA and not fun TD Bank
