I've been interested in pixel art for a while now primarily to make game art and after watching a bunch of tutorials I got aseprite and started trying to draw a coin since it seemed simple But no matter how many guides and tutorials I read watched I couldn't even make something that looked somewhat decent Like the shapes and lines just don't

The downside is the workload 150x150 pixel art is a real challenge to animate, even the tilesets will take a lot of work at that resolution If you have characters beyond the player that are this size (enemies and other objects) it expands the work involved considerably

The 'emulator or raw pixel art' is factually wrong, as it wasn't what the original product was designed for And yes some graphics designers accidentally made circles wrong in the design stage on their RGB monitors etc, doesn't matter, a consumer CRT was the planned end screen, it is the final product and any other presentation is incorrect
