There was a thread a few days ago that mentioned the weatherstrip kit from LMC Truck for $180 I went to their website and couldnt find the kit I ordered a catalog, but it wont be here for a couple weeks My question is, what is included in this kit, how is the quality, and what is the part

It is definitely tough finding aftermarket non-wear item parts for a 20ish year old vehicle that is not very collectable Reverse-engineering the sub-dash to create a mold to make new old parts would be in the neighborhood of $100K Once the mold is created, the parts need to be made, boxed, marketed, transported and finally sold

I did the same thing, but LMC ended up being my single vendor placed a $1900 order 3 years back for lots of stuff ranging form body panels to electrical bits everything fit great and is still installed and working fine

Note that this doesn't replace the lower parts, nor does it replace some of the inner plastic pieces I don't think anybody makes reproduction parts of those But it seems like they never get that bad on most trucks Looks like a brand new dash now Fitment is real good I'm happy with it

The fit and prices are better Also LMC gets alot of there parts from the bronco houses I got a radiator for mine from LMC when I first got my truck(I didnt know any better) and it was packed in two boxes the first was from LMC the inner box was from Bronco Graveyard! Since then I buy most of my parts from JBG

There is nothing cheap for these old Dodge trucks I have found time and again that it is often cheaper to buy the entire truck if it has the pieces you need than the parts themselves Typical situation of the sum of the parts being worth more than the whole That is probably why I literally have a dozen of these old trucks

I was kayaking with the wife years back (Bronco with kayak on a trailer) and was approached by someone from LMC Later, they came out, took pics of the Bronco and made the LMC cover in 2017 I have since moved and retired

Just got my LMC truck catalog in the mail Looks awsome for OEM replacement stuff Anyone every order from them? any problems? Main reason i did it was i have 2 scratches on my lower front painted bumper (i backed into a threaded pipe and gouged out the plastic pretty good) The shop want 400 to sand out the scratch, prime paint and buff
