My favorite is AppraisalPort, as it is used by many direct lenders and I've added clients through the portal without having to change anything I get that ENV is problematic, but it's not that big of a hassle once it's integrated into the workflow and you figure out the quirks I like Appraisal Scope, but it's a bit clunky when you have multiple clients through it I think I have 5+ AMCs that

Appraisal port has become almost outrageous, charging sometimes up to $40 for a 1004 report upload We sometimes are paying almost $1000 a month to do business on the platform The only reason we participate is because the fees are extremely generous But still, it almost feels like theft because it’s just software, that $40 a report has paid for the cost of creating that software probably

Ones I know of: AppraisalPort, Mercury Network, Appraisal Shield, Appraiser Firewall, LenderX (now owned by Xome), Clear Value, Clearbox, Rims Central, AppraiserUSA My least favorite AMC right now - Consolidated Analytics Apparently they've told their staff to write appraisers a message every day until the order is complete

I have the Associate Director of the CFPB wanting to talk about AMCs and their unethical actions I am currently compiling information from appraisers I know in regards to fees AMCs are charging to appraisers, who their client is, address, date, and report type I am approaching this from a junk fees and regulatory recapture POV where the AMC is getting paid $550-$750 a report but only paying

With a slow as we are I think it's a great time to check out other options Especially since sfrep is basically free for a 6-month period Hell if you've got as much down time as I do you good completely set up sfrep and just never start paying so that you have the whole system set up with your templates and comments ready to go as a backup On the drawback of the free 6 months is that tier
