The only reason we don't have DX11 by default is because we do have some parts of the game using next-gen DX12 only rendering features, but we're considering dropping that given how many people are crashing from it

After doing various combinations of troubleshooting (from experimenting with different in-game graphics settings to verifying the game's file integrity) - I had come across a temporary solution that worked for me which involved running the game in DX12 mode go to steamapps\common\CODE VEIN\CodeVein\Content\ and rename the "CriWareData" folder

I have tried to play a couple times and the game crashes for me too Last time it locked up my PC and I had to reset I am using the Vulkan options for graphics with an AMD Radeon 7900 XTX with latest drivers

The 12v readings on the GPU stay more in the 11 71 or greater range In the 582 02 underclock, the GPU Power stays closer to the 200watt range In the 517 48 underclock, this value goes much lower more often In the 517 48 Defaults, there appears to be an IDLE point where the card pulls 61 xxx watts, but there are no instances in the Underclock
- Question - Games crash on startup using DX12 Fullscreen
I noticed that my games crash on fullscreen dx12 on startup, not always but sometimes it happens and especially when i have rivatuner on, when i turn it off it works just fine, i never have in game crashes and all stress tests on gpu and cpu and memory pass just fine i tried reinstalling
