Nevermind, I just opened the pen to access the battery compartment by pulling the cap straight up and off the body of the pen It's very easy, actually very little force is needed to pull the cap off the pen So I think I answered my question 13 people found this answer helpful

When you change the battery, it loses connection (as you can see), so, what you do is remove it and then add it back to the system In the picture below, click on Menu and then Settings and go to "Devices" to get to the panel displayed
