- LCP II Vs. SR22 Vs. LCR 22LR - Ruger Forum
I would consider carrying the SR22 in an edc bag like a sling waist bag, or possibly with an iwb holster if need be Edit, I can see getting the SR22 now, and then a revolver down the line for better rimfire reliability as well as better concealment without needing to practice as much with it as I'd want to with an LCP
- Best SR22 Ammo to Use - Ruger Forum
For years I've only used CCI Mini-Mag 40 grain CPRN ammo in my SR22 and it has been flawless However folks here will attest to success with a wide variety of 22LR rounds in their SR22 Just ordered a second SR22 a couple of days ago, this one has a fiber optic sight plus I ordered a laser for it just to have something different
- SR22, which ammo works the best? - Ruger Forum
The SR22 was the first handgun I ever bought (3 years ago) The LGS clerk told me to use nothing but CCI Mini Mags for the first 400-500 rounds Fortunately this was a little before 22 became scarce I have now put over 7,000 rounds through the gun Most of it has been Remington Golden bullets and Thunderbolt
- SR22 with red dot mount? - Ruger Forum
I bought a little red dot sight and mount for my wife's SR22 It's the type that clips to the ********** under the frame, not the kind that replaces the rear sight on top of the slide The mount and sight seem very good and rigid, the frame seems to flex all over the place, being plastic and
- LCP II Vs. SR22 Vs. LCR 22LR | Page 2 | Ruger Forum
Sounds like the SR22 in general has less reliability issues than the LCP II I definitely plan on practicing as much as I can afford it which is another reason why I desire a 22lr pistol I'd certainly consider the LCR 22's if they were in the same price range It's gonna be a tough call, but I'm kind of leaning towards the SR22
- Ruger SR22 or Walther P22 - Ruger Forum
P22 vs SR22 I owned a Walther P22 for about three months Shot a few hundred rounds though it, then traded it for the Ruger SR22 The P22 was very picky about ammo type It favors high velocity rounds It will fail frequently on the cheaper bulk stuff For me the ability to shoot cheap ammo was a major reason for purchasing a 22 pistol
- Micro red dot for SR 22 pistol - Ruger Forum
The SR22 slide is aluminum and the entire firearm is designed around that reciprocating weight There isn't much margin for extra mass I understand the desire for the shake-awake feature; it is of questionable value on a pistol that isn't a EDC, but, you asked
- SR22 Optic - Ruger Forum
I’ve been on the fence about trying an optic on a pistol for a while and didn’t want to spend a bunch just trying it out, so I found a budget kit for the SR22 Optics Factory had an SR22 mounting plate and base model optic for $82 so I jumped When I tested the optic before install I didn’t see a dot what I saw was a blob of several small
