My oldest son has a 52cm 1988 Trek 1000 that I restored for him I think it came in around 25 lbs ready to ready with LED lights, wheel reflectors, and a seatbag with a tube and tools Not heavy, but not especially light either The early bonded aluminum bike frames weigh about 1 2 lb more than the same models in later years (80s vs 90s)
