AT T has started a cruise package so you can use your phone while cruising without incurring all the roaming fees, etc I was just pricing it, and it is cheaper than the social media package on Carnival Has anyone used the AT T package yet? How did it work for you?

I am trying to decide between getting AT T's cruise package or Carnival's Wi-Fi plan After talking to an AT T rep over chat, it sounds like the AT T package is only good for talk and text at sea, but if I want to go to CNN and read an article, or check the weather, I have to use Carn

AT T considers USVI as stateside so calls don't roam to BVI towers except maybe on the far east end of St John I always turn off roaming on my phones so it can't use other towers

AT T has three cruise ship plans that can be used on eligible ships and in eligible ports 1) A calling and texting plan: $50 for 30 days gives you 50 minutes talk time and unlimited send texts, 2) a calling, data and texting plan: $100 for 30 days gives you 200MB data, unlimited talk and unlimited send text, and 3) a $3 00 per minute plan

Starting in April 2025, AT T revamped its international land and cruise packages I never used the AT T cruise package before because I was concerned about the data overages That is now gone (although they slow you to a crawl after 500MB) I have an android phone and Carnival blocks wifi

We all have AT T and all have iPhones Is it necessary we purchase one of the cruise plans with AT T? I see people mention cheaper ways to stay in touch with others on the ship but I don't know how to do that without buying the $50 plan Edited November 24, 2018 by sks1973

You won't get AT T, you will get either Cellular at Sea or when on land the local carrier Before this plan I had the $10 international plan that allowed you to use your AT T plan for 24 hours at $10 each 24 hour you used it This included calls, texts, and data but it honestly all looked like roaming It did not however include Cellular at Sea

The AT T cruise package is using Celluar at Sea Celluar at Sea is owned bt AT T As for your lecture it really is not appropriate It is not our buseness as to why OP wants to check in at home every day You should not even have replied as you did not have a clue how the AT T cruise package works
