I saw an alligator in Bayou Two Prairie at the Kerr Rd bridge a coupe of years ago, so it is definitely possible I wouldn’t let that stop me from fishing there though, even in a kayak Years ago a buddy and I would fish in Cypress Lake in a 2 man scamp There was a 8’+ gator in there at the time
