NOW, SteamDB can only get some of the info from Steam as people who are offline in Steam, or have their profile set to private, etc will not be counted in anyone's charts

Any particular reason? It's currently sitting at 67th in the list of top 100 concurrent players on Steam (it's normally more like 125th) and quite a bit higher placed than Battlebit Remastered This is honestly quite impressive I had also been led to believe that even playing this game on PC could seriously comprise the security of one's computer, due to hackers and other nefarious exploits

Steamcharts Steam DB don't do the count themselves, they get the data directly from Steam via the Web API, and yes Steam counts all players accross all regions

But for real, Steam Charts are a good metric of player retention You can't really make those up Another metric that both Xbox and Steam have are achievements, which both of them will show you how many players got what achievements
