To reset the Battery Management System (BMS) on a Volvo V40, you can try a manual sequence (ignition on, no start, dipped beams on, rear fog button x5, hazard button x3, watch for battery light flash) It's an odd process, but if you get the battery light flashing like in the video, you've done it right BMS system will relearn the battery
