The boat has no electrical system, its a rope start motor with battery powered lights, so a powered windlass is out of the question and it would likely be a problem to mount since the only flat surface area on the bow is the small aluminum bow casting that's about 10" wide and 8" long

Re: Boat leans to one side Well i removed the Hydrofoil and the it helped a bit I pulled the boat back out and looking at the skeg it looked even more bent then with the hydrofoil on (hydrofoil was screwing with seeing it stright on) I would say that it was about an inch off center
- What horsepower motor to use on light weight 14 aluminum boat?
I was wondering what size outboard motor to use on my 14' harbercraft aluminum boat? The boat is pretty light, probably 165lb-180lb range and I bought it off a guy who used to put on top of his canopy on his truck My boat has a 15" transom and like I said it is pretty light weight and probably comparable to a 14' starcraft

Re: Highway speed with boat trailer I believe the recommended top speed while towing a trailer of that size is 55 or 60 However, if I said that I never exceeded that top speed while towing my 18 footer I'd be lying You are talking about the boat in your avatar, correct? I guess it mainly depends on the driver, some people do not feel comfortable towing very fast, and some don't mind Does
