It's actually really easy to keep an Enderman from teleporting without using a boat This is something I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't realize but endermen don't randomly teleport when they're idle

Currently the game is coded so that as long as an Enderman is holding a block, it won't despawn This prevents Endermen from spawning, grabbing a block, then despawning, causing said block to be lost forever W o this, given a long enough period of time, the blocks around your base would start to disappear

You can use waterlogged blocks They also don't need to have water on the top, so you can have a bunch of waterlogged top slabs or stairs to make the platform look normal Enderman can occasionally teleport to waterlogged blocks for some reason, but it's rare enough to not be much of a problem even when used around enderman farms where a lot of them are trying to teleport away

Best way is probably making a large dark box, it'll have other mobs but it increases the enderman
