First one: FIGFCU Crystal Visa Joined through ACC, took a couple of days to get the approval after some documentation back and forth After that, I tried to set up my membership and it auto-declined me I had to call back in and explain the Chex inquires (mostly new CDs ) The super helpful rep helped my get it overridden and my membership sorted

In the first year, with both the annual fee waived and the 3% cash back, the FIGFCU handily wins Past that, not so much At that point, I would be paying a $99 annual fee for the same 2 5% cash back - well more than the opportunity cost I am eating by tying up my $1000 with Alliant (about $42 50)
