Yeah even the "leaks disguised as speculation" didn't seem too prevalent in the Xbox Two annual showcase predictions podcast, something I listen to every year I also feel in general most gaming journalists seem to have strayed a bit more away from leaking before showcase (although someone needs to give Tom Henderson the memo :P )
