If it's a bad syncro, is there anything that can be fixed replaced before my whole transmission goes? Did you end up replacing your motor mounts, and if so, did it help smooth out shifting? (I was thinking about installing MMIs and at the same time replacing the stock MMs for good measure) Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

hey guys I have read some about all these different throttle body sizes, etc basically what we know is that MT's have 55mm, and AT's have 60mm Do 2000 2001 ka24's really have a 65mm? also, is there an advantage to using a larger throttle body? my gut says that if more air = more power but

It is most likely the radiator fans and its totally normal If you park the car and shut it off and the car senses that the engine is still too warm, it will turn on the radiator fans for about 30 seconds to cool everything down after the car is shut off Thats most likely what you hear

If not, or if its gonna cost you an arm and a leg, just go with non-electronic mounts and get Racingline MMIs If they default to the softer setting, you will likely feel a lot of movement when shifting into gear from park

I have the MMIs Only have the front installed so far It helped quite a bit and didn't add much vibration But, I don't care too much about vibrations and would rather have the solid mount inserts for performance I figure that even with the MMIs, the stock rubber mounts will eventually wear out

my clutch had the same problem, it would creek when i engage it or release it one dealer kept blowing me off in new york and wouldnt fix it I took it to another dealership, they noticed the problem and agreed to fix it they replaced the whole entire clutch pedal assembly under warranty that was 10k miles ago, the clutch has been perfect since no creeks or squeaks anymore, car even shifts
