Once you have Medal installed, with default settings The moment you launch your game while Medal is on, it will detect your game and you can record the last 30 seconds in-game when pressing the hotkey which is F8 by default You can check this article to know more

hey i was just having the same problem rn lol, lucky timing, but i found out you do it on medal, go to medal, settings, privacy and security, and its the second one under privacy and visibility! :3 Reply reply

So I tested one by one the applications that could be corrupted with TFT, steam, overwolf, discord, and medal And surprise, once MEDAL was off, everything worked flawlessly As soon as I turn MEDAL back on, it causes me problems with black screens when launching (causing the game to completely crash), or lags, or big freezes

so today i downloaded medal for the first time and it sounded like a great alternative to using the xbox game bar to clip which is very un reliable at times the game i am currently playing is battlefield 1 and before i installed medal i would get a solid 200 fps at all times but with medal running in the backround it drops to around 100-140
- medal alternatives? since you have to pay for clips now
Does Insights have multiple audio inputs? I have a GOXLR and have been looking for clipping software to record the Game audio (desktop audio) + discord + my microphone So far, I've only seen Medal TV has this feature NVIDIA ShadowPlay only allows 2 Inputs (Mic + Desktop) and I'm looking to record my discord as well!
