Input the name of your My Cloud, User name and Password, then restart your PC In addition to that, try updating your device drivers especially the network card to the latest version Let us know the results

My Workaround: Network Settings menu, Windows Services: Max SMB Protocol set to SMB1 ( Default SMB2 )- that fixed it for me Not sure if the WD MyCloud Mirror offers the same menu settings options Report abuse

At this point I shall try again to get a consistent solution but I’m looking at just buying another desktop and building my own NAS I believe my device is the first gen of WD MyCloud with 2TB storage and it runs the current firmware: WDMyCloud v04 05 00-327 : Core F W which was last updated on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 5:10:49 AM

The problem is specifically with the account on my Samsung android phone I understand that the problem is due to the cloud acting as a mirror to what is stored on my phone, BUT this has only changed recently I have been uploading to my cloud account and deleting off my phone to free space successfully for a few years

On the New PC when I select "This PC" I can see both my current Dive C: my old PC (HEWLETPACKARD) and my WDMycloud Drive Then I click the 3 dot menu and select "Map Network Drive" In the next box I click Browse In the Browse for Folder window, my old PC (HEWLETPACKARD) appears after a few seconds, but no sign of my NAS

5 I have entered this IP address (and the hostname) into a browser and both take me to the login prompt for the NAS administrative interface and I can login successfully from there to manage the device 6 Access was working on my previous machine running Windows 10 Only the machine and OS of the system have changed on the network
