It’s probably not available in every lab everywhere, but since it’s standard of care, any occupational health setting that sees needlestick injuries should have access to that test Post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV should ideally be initiated as early as possible; post-exposure prophylaxis for Hep B can wait until reference lab test

collapse does more than a single tick of bleed but bleeds add up and continue ticking as long as the debuff is applied on characters you can consistently keep bleeds going -- maybe no on something like rebar mult? pretty good! also worth considering stacking debuffs to get increased damage with skull + needle tick if you don't already have any tri tips

Not a needlestick, but as a 2nd year anesthesia resident I started an IV after induction on an HIV, Hep B and Hep C homeless patient with a septic limb After starting the IV I aspirated with a flush and got good blood return, then pushed 3 4 of the flush into that IV Had a few CC's of bloody saline left in the flush

It's not exactly the same thing, but I had a needlestick injury from an unknown source about nine months ago 1 I was reluctantly started on PEP -- the employee health doctor clearly thought the negative side effects outweighed the low likelihood of infection, but she did leave it up to me and I took it [2]
