My Oneida is set up at 65 pounds using 2317 XX75's with 125 t-heads, finger release, and no peep 3 arrows at 35 yards and ended up with a busted nock! Still the smoothest draw I've ever felt and even with the heavy arrows it zings the arrows out there nicely

Yes the older models were heavy, yes Oneida's tend to be loud, but thats mostly a "tunning" issue they can be made to be very quite with just a few items and some "tunning", keep in mind untill very recently that oneida's came with NOTHING as far as noise suppresion items, while everybody else had a few items on the bows from the factory, and do whats refered to as a supertunning and some mole

Oneida is the only compound to my knowledge with a shelf shaped to do this I've never even shot a Mathews or any of the current rage bows but the Tomcat I'm shooting is NOT loud The Oneida fans claim it was one of the quieter models

I have an Oneida bow I bought in about 1991 or 1992 It is a right hand model and the weight is 50 to 70 pounds The serial number is ACJ8872 The string is 47" and it has a medium draw The bow is perfect There are no stickers on the limbs and never have been Black plastic grip My wife thinks the model may be Aero Force Strike Eagle
