I cant really comment on the G rated trailer tires but after going through about 6 trailer tires while the "meant to be temporary" truck tire survived I'm seriously thinking of putting E rated truck tires on all our trailers Something highway style straight tread vs AT Seems new camper are offering truck tires as a $600-1000 upgrade at time of purchase now so maybe manufactures are starting

I picked up a 16+2' Hooper trailer this week, standard bumper pull that was probably built in the mid 90's Apparently, it used to be an option that you could buy the trailers with either Dexter mobile home style axles or standard 6-lug axles This one came with mobile home style axles, and
