The polaris site does not clarify anything I followed the instructions for the Ride Command Android app, but this seemed to do nothing on the slingshot So, if anyone out there knows if I can use the GPS without the subscription, please let me know Thanks, Ben

Received the New 2025 Slingshot R on Feb 20th absolutely Love this thing Runs, Rides, and Handles completely different from my 2022 SLR ever did There are a lot of subtle cosmetic changes that aren't seen with the naked eye until you try to swap out OEM parts with aftermarket ones from my 2022

Checked the voltage on the battery with the tender hooked up and it was at 13vdc, disconnected the voltage starting coming down almost immediately, was at 11 7vdc after about 3 mins or so Ran jumper cables to the battery and was able to start up the slingshot, voltage with it running was 14 5vdc (that reading was on the dash)

This is a highly subjective topic When the Slingshot was first introduced, the 2 4L GM Ecotec engine was a very important factor for many owners since parts were pretty much available anywhere The 2 4L Ecotec has a long service history and a pretty good reputation for bullet-proof reliability Those were important factors in my purchase decision

Getting lost in some pine trees on an Idaho windy road is a level of Eco-Therapy I haven't reached before With that said, I have thought about selling the Slingshot for a few reasons #1 I had to take my slingshot to the dealer 3 times last year and the closest dealer is 2 5 hours away (2 of the times had to be towed on a flatbed)
