As an owner who went for the Wilwood Big Brake kit i can tell you that the forum wisdom you mentioned is true Get some Hawk brake pads and MGP Caliper covers, you will accomplish your goals of big brake improvements and looks at 1 10th the price If you haven't already you should look at the DDM Probeam and DDM Backbone as relatively easy upgrades to the cars handling Lastly BC Racing
