The gimmick of the Steam Controller is the touchpads I did not use it, but based on my phone, laptop and DS4 I'd rather aim with a gyroscope and a stick rather than with a touchpad If you really want the touchpads for something else, get a Dualshock 4 Dualsense

I have windows and can swap between steam and gamepass without a problem I set up a button chord hotkey to toggle the desktop control scheme so I can leave steam open and still do whatever I want Just have to turn off the Xbox controller in hhc for steam to recognize the sd controller instead of Xbox controller

The steam controller is easily the #1 controller for rocket league unless you want to shell out $150+ for one of those obscenely overpriced "pro" or "elite" controllers
