Both are good lenses, but users of the newer 150-600 report it is better However the prices used are now favourable to someone looking for a used bargain for the 100-400 It takes the 1 4x teleconverter well too It's what I use, but with the X-T3 It'll be fine on the X-T5, especially if that camera uses bird recognition software
