I picked up a pond yacht this past weekend It belonged to a neighbor who gave it to us "kids" 25 years ago So, on the trip home to visit the grandparents, I retrieved it from the basement and son and I hope to give "Bourtai" new life on Walden Pond Here are some pictures: Anyone out there know anything about this boat???

Re: Free yacht tender plans Hi Guys Thank you for all the advice and links to plans Was actually thinking of a pdracers, since it is more stable than the other designs and the boat will be on a swing mooring, so will need to get from the tender up into the yacht and back

Re: Antique pond yacht question Sounds like some sort of basic self steering gear meant to keep the yacht on a set course (How can autocorrect translate 'steering' as 'catering'?) I have a small collection of pond yachts but prefer to keep them in the condition as found rather than restore them

Re: Steam Yachts from 100 years ago Looking at steam yacht lines plans and GA drawings in Dixon Kemp I am struck by how very impractical they were In the days of coal fired Scotch boilers most of the hull was taken up with boiler room, engine room, coal bunkers and crew accomodation
