- Using real cisco devices IOS - Cisco Learning Network
Both, packet-tracer und GNS3 have it advantages Packet-tracer has some limitations on the features of the devices (for example the simulated ASA has no "packet-tracer" command, no possibility to configure the global policy and also some more restrictions) GNS3 works with real images and therefor has not those limitations

- how to delete all the configurations I made - Cisco Learning Network
Since 'reload' still does not work in gns3, this is not going to work I normally just replace the router, or you can erase the router then stop start it, it will come up with no config Or, you can do this, without having to reload the router: TEST # erase startup-config Erase of nvram: complete TEST # configure replace nvram:startup

- CSR 1000V on GNS3 with free IOS-XE 3. 14 image - Cisco Learning Network
To create a Qemu node, you can browse through GNS3 documentation If you have the choice, I recommend to use Qemu nodes instead of VirtualBox for the following reasons: The optional KVM acceleration is not available with VirtualBox nodes and using KVM (Linux) significantly improves the performances of the VM(s)
