Thanks for all the extensive information here, it really helps a lot! I get now that the caves themselves are not all too dangerous, but my own lack of experience from when I was starting out in the games always put my nerves on edge that I'd get blind spotted, plus I was usually too busy surviving the surface

Spelunking -> bounce land nets you 2 more mana and if you have explore effects you can get more It's worse than amulet because amulet -> bounce land nets a mana and additional copies of amulet stack, but it's still a lot better than not having an untapping effect
