I recently bought a used 2008 WR250R and it came with a nice FMF powercore 4 silencer and full fmf exhaust system that I suppose were bought together This being said, should I do anything else to the bike? Not really talking about new mods but more about support mods that help the bike get along with the not OEM exhaust system

I called Dobeck this morning, they manufacture the FMF Programmer for the WR250R X They provided me the correct settings for my 290 Big Bore upgrade I have the FMF Q4 with Power Bomb Header and a K N filter with moded Air Box Before the kit I was using 3,4,1,8,4,4 5 with the big bore kit they recommended I change to 3,6,3,8,4,4 5

I just purchased an '08 WR250R moving up from a vintage XR250L I have also owned a DRZ400 a loooong time ago My memory tells me that the DRZ400 actually is a lot like the WR They are both taller bikes who feel a bit top heavy due to water cooling even though the weight is comparable to other bikes (like older air cooled 650 models)
