- Toyota Tacoma vs Nissan Frontier — Car Forums at Edmunds. com
Toyota has definitely let the competition creep up, and the Frontier has gone further (more HP, more standard options, and LOWER PRICE Also with what I am reading in posts from this site and other sites, the leaking and other problems with the 2005's has me worried and thinking that Toyota quality has slipped

Toyota - Gives us 5k and a 3-6month wait for a spec sheet and the truck you spec out may or may not be the one that shows up It’s 2023 all cars are reliable till the electronics sensor don’t work Coin flip I liked the Frontier engine better but hated the steering Aftermarket Toyota by a long shot Hold value - Toyota also by a good amount

Based on the recommendations from toyota, max acceleration on regular gas might be something they would want avoid, especially if their egos are attached to their trucks Still haven't heard much wrong with the frontier especially compared to the toyota Seems there has been enough time by now Maybe some frontier owners could provide some info

Toyota tacoma vs Nissan frontier What's everyone's thoughts on these two vehicles So toyota is releasing thier new models the pro and trail hunter are very speced out vehicles so I'll leave them out of this debate but let's say the TRD OR vs the pro 4x which i think is Nissans top spec midsized truck

The frontier’s I believe you can find without any crazy mark ups! The frontier gets slightly better gas mileage and has a bit more power Really can’t go wrong with either just boils down to the best deals you can find on em One thing I will note is the turning radius on the frontier is abysmal it reminds me of my old Lincoln Navigator

The Frontier has a stronger and heavier F-Alpha frame, that's a fact The Frontier has a stronger and heavier bed, thats a fact All this extra weight let's the less powerful Toyota engine carry the lighter Tacoma to 60mph 1 seconds faster than the Frontier (and don't forget thats 92 vs 87 octane)
- Help me decide between a Frontier, Tacoma, or Colorado.
Frontier is essentially a Tacoma without the Toyota tax Similar power, towing capacity, offroad capability, mileage Frontier has a way better seating position, is cheaper and more comfortable Tacoma has higher resale but is more expensive, is built better, less road noise, seating position SUCKS
- How does the frontier compare to a Tacoma? : r nissanfrontier - Reddit
The Frontier has better power and acceleration, a quieter cabin, and it rides smoother The Frontier’s turn radius is considerably wider than the Tacoma The Taco will also hold more resale value The new Tacos are even more expensive than the previous generation I liked my Tacoma a lot, but I enjoy the Frontier even more
- Anyone switch from a Tacoma? : r nissanfrontier - Reddit
The Frontier is a much smoother, quieter ride with a way, way more premium feeling cab and seats My last 2 Tacos were also brutal gear-hunters with shit gas mileage; the new Tundra is full-size and has better MPG than a 3rd gen Tacoma The Frontier has been a night and day difference at the pump

One thing I don't like about the Frontier is a loud "clunk" every time the AC compressor engages Also I think the Toyota engines are still more refined than the Nissan's, particularly when comparing the V6s BTW, anybody considering a Frontier should know that Nissan is introducing a restyled version in August
