- Can someone explain how QQQ works? : r Bogleheads - Reddit
The Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index, which is made up of 100 of the largest non-financial companies on the Nasdaq Stock Market QQQ's holdings include companies from many sectors and industries, but are heavily weighted toward large-cap technology companies
- Is QQQ a good long term investment? : r ETFs - Reddit
Fundamentally, buying QQQ is also an inherent bet that Financials will underperform every other sector (the Nasdaq 100 Index excludes them) and a belief that the exchange on which a stock trades is related to its performance (the index only includes stocks that trade on the NASDAQ exchange)
- Choosing 100% QQQ: My Reasons Explained : r ETFs - Reddit
The overlap and correlation between VOO and QQQ are already very high I'm 26 years old and strategically planning for the long term, with a horizon of 10-15 years I believe in tech and I am thinking of only investing in QQQ, as I anticipate the historical trend of more good than bad years to persist In challenging times, VOO's resilience provides a cushion, but QQQ shines even brighter
- VGT vs QQQ : r ETFs - Reddit
Be aware the broader US stock market (any S P 500 fund or any total US stock market index fund) is already close to 30% concentrated in the tech sector VGT is purely US tech so it doesn't include other tech oriented companies like AMZN, GOOGL, META, TSLA, etc, while the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ) does
- QQQ Vs QQQM : r ETFs - Reddit
QQQ is great if you’re day trading, taking a short term position, or need to write options on it For most buy and hold investors, QQQM makes more sense If your QQQ is in a taxable account, just leave it Instead, buy QQQM for your next purchase
- VTI QQQ : r ETFs - Reddit
Even though QQQ seems to be more tech driven, VTI has pretty much all of the QQQ stocks Does that mean that does two are significantly overlapping ? Does that make sens to hold those two from a diversification perspective as all those stock are in the US only ? What do you think would be a good combination to have if I hold already QQQ ?
- Is QQQ a good ETF for long-term? : r ETFs - Reddit
QQQ Nasdaq-100 isn't either a growth fund or tech fund It's the fund of the top 100 non-financial companies traded on the Nasdaq There's no requirement about what sort of company is on the index, other than that
- QQQ as a long term investment : r investing - Reddit
QQQ yes, But it will not shine until after 20 years on annualized basis Volatile, short past history For long term investment Most buy S P500
- QQQ is the best ETF you can buy : r ETFs - Reddit
Claim QQQ is the best stock you should buy if you want to maximize long-term growth Context Most of the content on the web would have comments on QQQ that fall into the following two category QQQ is heavily tilted toward large growth stocks and you should look for ways to diversify
- Please convince me to not invest 100% in QQQ QQQM comparable ETFs - Reddit
Please convince me that I should not change it up to 100% in this ETF My reasoning for going 50 50 was that the ETF was so pricy already that it seemed like it may underperform; but it looks like interest rates are going to go lower some time, so it seems like if anything, the ETF may outperform when that happens
