A word of advise, dont use non oem parts, autozone, ect distro cap are aluminum lugs as i found out centuries ago,,cars wont run right,,copper lugs are oem,,autohaus, pelican parts, ect have the good ones, Distro caps are copper lugs-never aluminum These cars are sensitive to resistance changes and wont run as well without oem parts or better

All, My brake pedal is hard upon initial start up and cannot be pressed until the car starts then I can press on the brake which will allow me to put pressure So far I have changed out the vacuume hoses, check valve and clamps to make sure there is no vacuume leak and what my indy prescribed However brake pedal seems fine once applied while driving it still concerns me why its hard upon

The 6 speed in my 540 is terrible when cold This is even after swapping out the fluid with new bmw fluid By terrible I mean when the trans is cold it is stiff into gears, especially first and second, and it barely has the power to return to center Is this the norm for these cars? Or maybe indicative of too much or too little fluid?
