For a horse who comes in at night, I think it is ridiculous to charge extra for blanketing, extra feed, wraps, soaking hay, ect I do not want to pay extra for those things if I'm already paying for indoor board Horses on pasture board, I am more lenient I will pay extra to have a pasture horse blanketed, grained, ect

I ran a small boarding operation and horse motel for years and had 'one size fits all' type of board Every horse had a stall, but we only used them if the weather was inclement or if the horse needed to be stalled due to illness or injury, otherwise they stayed out on pasture 24 7

So I know this all heavily depends on the area, but to give perspective, board in our town is anywhere from $300-$400 for full board Boarding is also a very scarce thing Low end that doesn't have riding arena, just strictly a barn and pasture, with hay and bedding provided, and them feeding

Hadn't heard about co-op boarding, but basically a co-op is operated on a not-for-profit basis, in that all profits are reinvested to create member benefits (including reduced rates, upgrades in services etc)

Most common boarding arrangement in my area is outdoor pasture board with free access hay (square bales preferred but round bales most common) People would pay $350 a month for outdoor board (round bales) or $500 a month (square bales and additional amenities)
