Looking for a way to update the firmware on my 4 Schlage locks be469nx The Schlage connect app is useless if that is the recommended method of firmware updates The app never moves past step 3 to add the lock Their recommendation is to reset to factory and retry to add the schalge lock to their proprietary app

I now wonder if those issues were also related to the 4 0 3 0 plugin, which is apparently a beta I would be interested to know if others got one of these newer Schlage locks to work I did have success with an older Schlage BE468 using the 4 x plugin but that seemed random I had others of the same model that would not add

In my experience, Schlage locks (at least the BE469NX) are really bad at reporting battery levels Even if they say the battery is fine, and even if they respond to a poll, replace the batteries before you devote time to troubleshooting
